Like the Montessori method, we teach independence through thoughtfully designed activities that promote skills such as fine motor, logic and reasoning, categorizing, problem solving, creativity, and more.

Reggio Emilia Inspired

We take inspiration from the belief that children are bursting with the need to express themselves and have “100 languages”, or ways, of doing so. Our environment allows children to express themselves through multiple avenues such as play, art, music, movement, and sensory exploration.

Units of Study

At the Hollow, we foster a love of learning through units of study we design ourselves. Children explore topics such as light, music, water, seasons, music, transportation, art and much more.

Special Events

We love taking advantage of all our wonderful neighborhood has to offer like the Botanic Garden, public library, Kiddie Science, and fire station. Guest performers also come into our school like puppet shows and musical sing alongs.
