Born and raised in Flatbush, BK, my inspiration and love of teaching comes from my childhood experiences. I learned from my mother that through play, I could discover endless possibilities that inspired my creativity and curiosity. From these experiences I knew I wanted to pursue my dream of teaching.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Education from SUNY Old Westbury. With over 15 years experience working with children, I’ve come to love every stage - from caring for infants to teaching high school. After undergrad, I received my masters in Technology Education from Nova Southeastern University and went on to teach preschool and elementary school in Brooklyn. In my ongoing efforts to be a life-long learner, I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership.
As a mom of two young boys, Aiden and Austin, I see the value of an education that focuses on social and emotional development. Austin is a graduate of the Hollow and I am so proud of how our philosophy at the Hollow connects so closely with my values as a mother.

I moved from Manhattan to PLG in 2016 and it quickly became home. For over fifteen years, I’ve taught children of all ages and backgrounds and these experiences have instilled in me a great love of children. After receiving a master’s degree in childhood education from Fordham University, I packed my bags to spend time teaching in France and Nepal. I received my NY state teaching license and went on to teach elementary school in public, charter, and private schools around Brooklyn.
When I inched closer to starting a family of my own, Tiffany and I thought a lot about the kind of school we dreamed about for our own children. Somewhere warm and inviting that felt like home. And so the idea was born to open the school of our dreams, which our children would attend. My first son Oscar is a graduate of the Hollow and my younger son Gus is currently a student. They have both had a profound influence on the program and curriculum at our school.
